Teresa Gorham - Earl (45) of Assonet MA (formerly of Quincy, MA) May 18, 2014

(Terri)

Beloved wife of Brian Kieth Earl and devoted mother of Brooke Katlyn Earl and Jonathan Michael Earl. Cherished daughter of Ruth A. (Hawkins) Gorham and the late John C. Gorham of Abington (formally of Quincy). Loving sister of Eileen  C. Kurowski and her husband Michael Kurowski and Maureen G. Jansen, all of Abington.

Teresa leaves behind her niece Olivia Kurowski and nephews Timothy and Brian Kurowski and Scott and Cole Jansen all of Abington, who were all lucky recipients of her unending love, compassion and kindness. Her large extended family and many friends will miss her love of life and energy, as will all those whose lives she touched with her gentle nature and kind soul.

A 1987 graduate of Quincy High School and graduate of Newbury College, Terri was employed in Client Services at Fidelity Investments in North Smithfield, RI and had previously worked for Putnam Investments. Her love and devotion to her family and friends is what we will most remember, as well as her decades-long appreciation for her favorite Boston band Aerosmith.

In her short 45 years she lived passionately, enjoyed her life and her family and gave of herself to others who were blessed to have known her.We will miss her everyday but trust that she is in the loving arms of the Father and all those family and friends who have gone before her. No words can describe the tragic loss of someone so young, beautiful and special as Terri. Our hearts and prayers are for her husband and her children as we will support and comfort them during this most tragic time.

Theresa's memorial service calling hours to which friends and relatives are invited to attend will be at the mfcs South Coast Chapel on 158 Middleboro Road in East Freetown, MA on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 4 pmto 7 pm. Her Memorial Mass will be onWednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. Bernard's Church, South Main Street, Assonet, MA

Dear Brian, Brooke and Jonathan –

We at Fidelity (Teresa’s extended family) would like to extend our deepest condolences to you and your entire family on your loss. Teresa was not only a valued employee here at Fidelity, but was a loyal and treasured friend, a mentor and a leader. She was the go to person for just about everything relating to our operations and never ever said no when she was approached for help. Her willingness to give and to help others was unparalleled as she exhibited in her day to day whether it was working with her team, supporting other associates on the floor, working on projects or donating her time to charity. She was extremely kind, nurturing and patient with everyone that she interacted with. She always spoke highly of her family and absolutely cherished her time with all of you. We always kidded with Teresa and nicknamed her ‘Mother Teresa’ because she was always watching over all of us, her Fidelity family. We love her and will miss her, but know that she is still watching over us.

Dear Brian, Brooke, Jonathan and family,

I had the pleasure to work with Teresa in at Putnam Investments and enjoyed hearing about her growing family over the years. We chatted recently via email and planned to get together soon. She was a bright and loving woman and we are shocked and saddened by her unexpected passing.

My husband, Mark and I had the pleasure a few (maybe more than a few) years ago to visit your home for dinner and great company. I remember attending her baby shower for Brooke and met Eileen. I also worked with Maureen at Putnam (Investments Only group).

Our sincerest sympathies to you and your family.

Dear Brian, Brooke, & Jonathan:

I knew Teresa through working at Fidelity, & I can’t express how lucky I feel to have known her, even for too short a time. She was an amazing lady, a class act, with a very gentle heart & soul. I really got to know her when I started with her here in 2009. My oldest daughter was about to go through surgery to get tubes in her ears, & I’ll never forget that it was Teresa who kept me calm & was my biggest support when I was so nervous about it. And that was the first of many times when she & I conversed about our kids together, & she always was so supportive, no matter how silly my worries.

She was well known in these halls as a truly kind person with a big heart. I could tell in our passing conversations that she truly, TRULY loved being a wife & mother & was very proud of her family. I am so very sorry for your loss; I cannot even fathom what you are going through. I will continue to pray for you every day to find some comfort, & I hope that the good memories of her carry you through each day. God bless you all.

To the Earl Family,

I met Teresa at Fidelity and was blessed enough to have her as a trainer, a mentor, a colleague and as a friend. Having 2 children of my own Teresa would often share stories her family’s experiences all of which were told with love and a winning smile no matter the subject. She was truly a very special person whose unmatched kindness and warmth will look out for everyone from above. You have my family’s deepest sympathies and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear that Terri has passed on. I send my condolences. I graduated from high school with her and we were in a Business Management class together. We went out for breakfast a few times together when we were in high school as well and I enjoyed spending time with her. Although it's been many years I still remember her very well and I am deeply saddened to have heard that she passed away, especially at such a young age. I send my prayers to her family and friends. Blessed Be.

I know we have never met but I wanted you to know how far away your sadness is felt ,I live in the UK and when my best friend Lisa Jansen/Vides emailed me about the tragic news I stopped driving and cried , I am a mother of a wonderful son and aged 46 so it was relevant and when I drove home that night I hugged my 18 year old son and cried for Terri, we all go through live without realising that one day you can be gone and leave such a void behind , My deepest sympathies are extended across the sea and I wanted you to know that your sad news is felt and noted by even strangers who send much love and support during this tragic time.

Dear Ruth, Eileen and Family,
I just heard of Terri's passing about 15 minutes ago. I would have surely paid my respects had I known. Although I hadn't seen her in years, she was my first REAL childhood friend. I remember swimming in your pool and then going to my house for ice cream sandwiches. I remember spending hours playin in your basement with all of Terri's recital costumes. I remember that she tried so hard to teach me how to do a cartwheel, while she did them with ease of your picnic table. I am so sad and shocked to hear of her passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you (as well as Holly's and my Mom's) during this painful time.
