DEAR JACK AND SONS,

"I LIVED IN ALL THE BEAUTIFUL TREES, WATCHED AS THE PUFFY CLOUDS CAME TO BEING IN THE MANY DIFFERENT SKIES, GLORIED IN THE MAJESTIC SNOW-COVERED MOUNTAINS, WATCHED THE SPARKLING MOONLIGHT CREATED ON THE OCEANS"
JESSE'S BRUSH AND PALETTE KNIFE CREATED SO MANY DIFFERENT SCENES AND TO MY SURPRISE, MY EYES WERE OPENED TO GOD'S CREATION THROUGH MANY OF JESSE'S BEAUTIFUL ARTWORKS.

JESSE WILL LIVE ON IN THE ART HE CREATED AND TAUGHT TO THE MANY STUDENTS AND SENIOR CITIZENS, WHO ADMIRED HIS TALENT AND LOVED HIS HUMOR.

I SPENT MANY YEARS ENJOYING HIS SENIOR ART CLASSES AND THE ART SHOWS AT THE BUTTONWOOD SENIOR CENTER. JESSE WAS SO VERY TALENTED AND SUCH A SPECIAL ART TEACHER. HE WAS ABLE TO PASS HIS LOVE OF ART ALONG TO SO MANY. HIS STUDENTS WERE AMAZED AT THE ART THEY WERE ABLE TO CREATE WITH HIS GUIDANCE.

I WAS DEEPLY SADDENED TO LEARN OF HIS PASSING.
I CHERISH HIS FRIENDSHIP AND ALL THAT HE TAUGHT ME.

MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU.

BETTY LESTAGE
