Alice B (Barboza) Cruz

Alice B. Cruz 100, of East Freetown passed away on July 20, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Janaras "Jerry" Cruz.

Born in New Bedford she was the daughter of the late Joseph Barboza and Mary (Damon) Barboza.

Alice is survived by her two daughter, Janice Therrien of East Freetown and Wendy Flores and her husband James also of Freetown. Alice is also the proud grandmother of her 4 grandchildren and her 8 great grandchildren. Alice was predeceased by her siblings; The late Ernie Barboza, John Barboza, and Irene Barboza and she is survived by one sibling, her sister Ann Parker of Fairhaven.

Alice loved to play the piano, she also was a very good Sticher and like to sew. She enjoyed traveling down to Florida and she also liked horses.
