Ann Crehan Obituary

Ann Frances Crehan passed away peacefully after a long period of declining health at the Hannah B. Shaw home in Middleboro on April 22,2017 surrounded by her family.

Ann was born on December 22, 1929 in Boston, Mass. She was the daughter of the late Frances and John Drea. She grew up in Malden and Dorchester, Mass, where she attended school.

Ann married William "Bill" in 1956, they settled in Brockton Mass where she raised her family. She was predeceased in death by her parents, stepfather, Thomas Linnane, brothers Johnny Drea, Joseph Linnane, sister Mary " Dolly" O'Donnell, and her husband of over 57 years William P. Crehan.

Survivors include her 7 children; 4 sons, John Crehan and his wife Patricia of Billerica, Michael Crehan and his wife Lynn of Raynham, Brian Crehan and his wife Suzanne of Taunton and Mark Crehan and his wife Colleen of Raynham and 3 daughters; Andrea Grayson of Revere, Kathleen Reifschneider and her husband Peter of Raynham and Paula Micciche and her husband Joe of Raynham. Ann was also pround of her 15 grandchildren; Renee, Elaine, Kate, Andrew, Maura, Billy, Liam, Molly, Erin, Kaylyn, Kelsey, Maggie, Kyle, Ashley and Adilyn and her great grandchildren; Patrick, Samantha, Joseph, Nicole, Nicolas and Olivia.

 Two sisters Joyce Brosseau and her husband Dick of Milton Vt., and  Joan Lawrence and her husband Dave of Henderson, NV, 1 brother Thomas Linnane, Watertown, Ma. and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ann loved CNN, but mostly she loved people, and she loved her family, her husband, her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Special thanks to  both the caring staff of the Shaw neighborhood, the Compassionate Care Hospice and the staff of Island Terrace Nursing Home.

In lieu of flowers, donation's can be made in Ann's memory to; Compassionate Care Hospice, 174 Dean Street, Taunton, Ma 02780

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her services, Visitation from 4pm to 8 pm  on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at South Coast Chapel Mortuary, 158 Middleboro Rd (Rt.18) East Freetown, Ma. 02717. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 @ 9:00am at St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Road (Rt18) East Freetown, those wishing to attend the Mass are asked to go directly to Church. Final resting place will be burial on Friday, April 28, 2017 down at Massachusetts National Cemetery, in Bourne, Ma. at 1:00 pm.
