Audrey Soares Obituary
Audrey L. (Silva) Soares of New Bedford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer on September 15, 2018. Born in Acushnet, MA the daughter of Daniel Rogers Sr. and the late Beatrice Rogers was a lifelong resident of New Bedford, MA.
Audrey was a kind hearted and a very loving person who loved spending time with family and friends. Audrey enjoyed life and was always there to brighten the lives of others. Some of her favorite pastimes include girls night out with her sisters, trips to the casino, attending concerts, scenic drives, online shopping, watching old movies, and she loved going out to eat.
Audrey is survived by her son Kevin W.Soares of New Bedford and her daughter Sherri L. Moldaver of Randolph; 4 sisters: Jewel Silva, Geraldine Burgan, Carline Silva, and Margaux Mendes all of New Bedford; 2 brothers Danny Rogers Jr. and Kevin Silva of New Bedford; 4 grandchildren: Kendra Soares, Michael Moldaver, Alex Moldaver and Gabriella Moldaver, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her service will be celebrated on Sunday, September 23, 2018 with a visitation at 1:30pm followed by Mass at 2:30pm with a reception to follow in the Christian Fellowship Center - 822 Church St., New Bedford, MA 02745.
