Barbara M (Keenan) Harnden

Barbara M. (Keenan) Harnden 84, of Rochester passed away peacefully on Monday August 29, 2016 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham.

She was the beloved wife for nearly 66 years to Newell R. Harnden.

Born in Mansfield, she was the daughter of the late Howard Clifford  Keenan and Grace M. (Davenport) Keenan. Barbara was the loving mother of her children; Priscilla Sargent and her husband Richard of Pennsylvania, Richard Harnden and his wife Rose of Plymouth and Pamela Myette and her husband Leon of Rochester. Barbara was predeceased by one brother. She was also the proud grandmother of her 9 grandchildren; Keri & Michael Blouch of Middletown, PA; Richard II & Dianne Harnden of Middleboro, MA; Jenifer Sargent & fiancee Kris Jackson of Reading, PA; Michael Harnden of Taunton, MA; David & Marti Sargent of Phoenix, OR; The late Thomas Sargent; Jonathan Harnden of Wareham, MA; Stephen & Tiara Myette of Rochester, MA and Ryan Myettte & fiancee Mirade McShea of Middleboro, MA and 6 great grandchildren.

Barbara worked for Fairfield Opthalmology making eye glass frames. She loved  humming birds and she enjoyed making her version of chop suey. Mostly Barbara loved her family, her children and her grandchildren.

Per her families wishes her funeral arrangements will be private.
