Chantel Teresa Bruno 34, Our beloved child has gone peacefully, to be with the Lord.
Born in New Bedford, Ma she was the loving daughter of Robert James Souza and Michelle Teresa Bruno.
Chantel is survived by her brother; Robert Bergeron of Missouri, her grandmother; Elaine Phylis Bruno of Florida, her Aunt; Rochelle Bruno also of Florida, Aunty Susan and Uncle Pat of Sagamore, Aunty Bette Karne of New Bedford, Uncle Johnnie Souza, Aunty Beverly of Myricks. Chantel is predeceased by her Aunt the late Daniel (Bruno) Templeton. She also leaves behind several Dear Cousins, and her beloved fury daughter, Lolita.
Chantel worked for years as a personal care assistant , private duty.
She loved the ocean, walks on the beach and sunsets. Chantel also enjoyed boat rides, and she loved children, she loved animals, and she also like reading. Chantel loved to sing in the choir at school, her name, Chantel means little song. She loved art work and enjoyed her Art class and Science class. She was also on the volleyball team. Known for her collection of Angels, "always give us the lord's blessings" , Butterflies," are a new beginning" and Elephants," because of their wonderful memory". Chantel really liked flowers and gave them often.
A Memorial Mass to which both relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend is to be held at St. Mary's Church, Main Street, Fairhaven, Ma 02719 on Saturday Feb. 3, 2018 at 9 am.
