Dale Robert Chace, Sr. 49, of E. Freetown, went home to be with the Lord on October 5, 2014.
Born in New Bedford, he was the son of Sally P. (Bourassa) Chace and the late Thomas K. Chace.
Dale was the husband of Marcia (Desmarais) Chace and the beloved father of three sons; Dale R.Chace, Jr. and Quinn R. Chace of E. Freetown and Joshua Nunes of New Bedford. Dale is survived by 4 brothers, John Chace and David Chace of E. Freetown, Bruce W. Chace of Dartmouth and Thomas Chace of New Bedford and the late Bruce Allen Chace; 3 sisters, all of Dartmouth; Sally (Chace) Gonsalves, Sharon (Chace) Ridge, Judith (Chace) Parker and the late Janice (Chace) Bariteau and 2 granddaughters; Elexus and Alyssa Nunes. Dale is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dale was employed by United Liquors for many years. Dale's greatest loves were spending time with his family and riding in the wind on his Harley Davidson.
Calling hours to which friends and relatives are invited to attend will be on Friday October 10, 2014 from 4pm to 8 pm, with a memorial service at 5:00 pm, at mfcs llc South Coast Chapel, 158 Midddleboro Road, East Freetown, Ma.02717.
Bike run to be held at a day and time to be announced here when planned.
