David Edwards Obituary

David L. Edwards 61, of New Bedford passed away on September 1, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford with his loved ones, by his side. He was the beloved husband of 25 years to Deborah A. (Poyant) Edwards.

Born in Wareham, Ma he was the son of the late Newett Edwards and Dorothy (Briggs) Edwards.

David is survived by his children, 3 sons; Tylor Edwards of CT, Nicholas Edwards of Taunton and Joey Edwards of Freetown and his 2 daughters, Tabitha Phillips of New Bedford and Amanda Phillips also on New Bedford. David is also survived by his siblings; 3 brothers; Dale Aranjo of Freetown, Dennis Aranjo of Dartmoth and Drew Edwards of Taunton and his sister; Donna DeMoranville of New Bedford. David was also the proud grandfather of his 4 grandchildren; Noah, Owen, Evan and Zach.

David worked for years as a truck driver noteably for Don Vigeant and Sons, Freetown. He really loved to work and he loved driving, he was a daredevil at heart and enjoyed riding his motorcycles as well. He enjoyed watching golf and was quite an avid sports fan, he was a big Yankee's fan and Miami Dolphins. He grabbed life by the horn and enjoyed himself everyday and he was the life of the party to many. He will be sorely missed.

David's services will be held at a later date.
