Diane D. (Goddu) Ward

Diane D. Ward 84, of New Bedford passed away on Sunday January 19, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of the late Harold Dennis Ward.

Born in New Bedford, Ma she was the daughter of the late Norman Goddu and the late Elaine (Maynard) Goddu.

Diane is survived by her children; Randall Ward and his wife Grace of Taunton and Nicole Ward of New Bedford. She is also survived by her siblings; Kenneth Goddu of Florida and Rochelle Pimentel of North Carolina. Diane was also the proud grandmother of her two grandchildren; Justin Ward and Cullin Ward and her Great Grandchild Emerson Ward.

Diane really loved her family, she enjoyed being a wife, a mother and grandmother. She loved her dog and living near the coast where she enjoyed many of her days on the beach with her husband. She liked boating and cruises and enjoyed being outside. Basically, Diane just loved LIFE.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Memorial Mass that will be held on Friday February 7, 2025 at 10:00am at St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Road (Rt.18) East Freetown, Ma 02717, and her burial will be private.
