Dorothy Lily (Hardley) Schreiber

Dorothy Lily (Hardley) Schreiber, "Aunt Dot" 93, of East Freetown, formally of Arizona, passed away on Tuesday, July15, 2014 at the Southeastern Mass Health and Rehab Center, in New Bedford.

She was the beloved wife of the late Donald F. Schreiber. Born in Cleveland, Ohio. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Walter Hardley and Lily (Silver) Hardley. She was predeceased by her 2 sisters the late Mabel Harms and Virginia Kaye.

Dorothy is survived by her loving niece and caregiver, Jennifer C. Barrios of East Freetown and great niece Amy L. Goetz and her husband Philip Falzarano, of East Freetown. Dorothy also leaves behind a great nephew, Keith Pearson. She was the aunt of 3, the great aunt of 6, the great, great aunt of 12 and the great, great, great aunt of 4.

Dorothy loved animals, especially her cat, Casey and she also loved to read, about 3 books a week, it was her passion.

Dorothy's Memorial service will be at mfcsllc South Coast Chapel, located at 158 Middleboro Road (Rt.18) in East Freetown, on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 2:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
