Dwayne Trombly Obituary

Dwayne R. Trombly 49, of New Bedford passed away suddenly on Monday May 4, 2020.

He was the beloved husband of Tanya D. (Thorpe) Trombly.

Born in New Bedford he was the son of the late George Richard Trombly and the late Joann (Morrell) Trombly. Dwayne is survived by his children; Christopher Trombly of Acushnet, Dylan Trombly of New Bedford, Owen Trombly also of New Bedford, his stepson Robert (RJ ) Thorpe, Jr. and his stepdaughter Kendall Thorpe of New Bedford. Dwayne is also survived by his siblings; Chad Trombly of Lynn, Ma, Renee Perry and her husband Randall of Georgia, Richelle "Shelly"  Jacques and her husband Arthur of New Bedford and Heather Trombly  of Fairhaven and her fiancee Shantelle Perry and the late Darlene McCosker. Dwayne is also survived by his mother in Law, Debra Parris and the mother of his children; Michell Horta. He was also uncle to the late Arthur Jacques, Jr. and leaves behind his foster sister, Eleanor Barlow. Dwayne was the proud grandfather of 3 grandchildren and 1 on the way. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Dwayne was a fun life loving kinda guy, he liked to hang out at the Whiskey Bar, loved to go fishing, go camping and hiking. He always made everyone laugh and always had his signature grin.. He was the coach for the New Bedford Soccer Association and he also volunteered for the Boy Scouts. He mostly loved spending his time with his family, his wife, children and grandchildren and he will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.

Dwayne's funeral services will be held at a later date.
