Elaine Gordon Obituary
Elaine D. Gordon 70, of New Bedford passed away on Sat. Dec. 29, 2018 at the Oak's in New Bedford.
Born in Acushnet Ma she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph Guilbeault and Yvonne " Rita " (Girouard) Guilbeault.
She was the beloved mother of her two daughters; Stacy Souza and Rochell Pereira both of New Bedford. Elaine is survived by her siblings, two brothers; Ronald Guilbeault of Acushnet and Glen Guilbeault of New Bedford and her sister; Janet Mello also of New Bedford. Elaine was the proud grandmother of her five grandchildren; Cody Pereira, Ariana Souza, Jeremy Pereira, Aiden Souza and Ashton Souza. Elaine was also a Me'mere to two boys; Kenji Conley and Cameron DeMello. Elaine is also survived by her childhood best friend, Sandra DaSilva.
Elaine worked for years in Data processing for Alden Buick. She liked birds, all kinds and she had parakeets. She just loved musicals, crossword puzzles and coloring books and she also liked to read. But mostly she just loved spending her time with her family and friends.
Her wake, with visitation will be held on Thursday January 3, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm at South Coast Chapel Mortuary, 158 Middleboro Rd (Rt 18) East Freetown, Ma. Relatives and friends and family are respectfully invited to attend. Funeral Service will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations in Elaine's memory can be given to her family.
