Elaine R. (Camire) Jason

Elaine R. Jason, of New Bedford, Massachusetts died on January 3, 2023 at the age of 80, following a period of declining health. She was the daughter of Laurentia and Roger Camire.

Elaine attended New Bedford Schools and was a graduate of New Bedford High School class of 1961. Prior to her retirement, Elaine worked for many years at the Acushnet Company.

Elaine’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility for the compassionate care she was given while in their care.

Elaine is survived by her son, Scott Jason and her daughter, Lisa Tenczar. She is also survived by her siblings, Rose Marie Francis, MaryAnne Daigle, Peter Camire, and Michael Camire. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Jason, her parents, and her siblings, Philip Camire and Roger Camire. Elaine requested that there be no services.
