Elsie Adams Obituary
Elsie F. Adams, 87, of Acushnet passed away peacefully on Thursday April 27, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.
She was the beloved wife of 67 years to Irving E. Adams.
Elsie was born in Fall River, Ma the daughter of the late Thomas and Helena Smalley.
She is survived by her husband Irving, and her two daughters; Sandra Frances Gomes and her husband Ramon of East Freetown and Christine " Tina" Louise Andrade of Acushnet. Elsie was also the proud grandmother of her 4 grandchildren; Joshua Gomes and Jason Gomes and Charles Crooks and Thomas Crooks. She also had three great grandchildren; Sophie Crooks, Elizabeth Crooks
and Chazz Crooks.
Elsie worked for many years as a sales clerk for Retail; Star Store. She loved gardening, and in her younger years she enjoyed doing things with her husband, camping and canoe sailing, (which her husband made.)
Elsie's funeral services will be Private and held at a later date.
