Eugene Dubois 89, of Acushnet passed away Sunday July 22, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of the late Loretta E (Remillard) Dubois.
Born in New Bedford, Ma he was the son of the late Donor Dubois and Aura Dubois. Eugene is survived by his children; Neil Dubois and his wife Cheryl of CT, Lee Dubois of Acushnet, Susan Hamel and her husband Wayne also of Acushnet, and he was predeceased by his two sons, the late Kent Dubois and Wayne Dubois. Eugene was the proud grandfatherof his twelve grandchildren and his eight great grandchildren. Eugene was predeceased by his siblings; his brother the late Roland Dubois and his sister the late Theresa Ferreira.
Eugene served his Country proudly in the United States Army National Guard and was a veteran of W.W.II. He worked for years in Textiles as a pattern maker. He truly was a hobby Enthusiast, he loved to paint, sculpt and design model aircrafts, which he had his own business in.
Per his families wishes his services will be private and held at a later date.
