Florence B. (Sylvia) Alexander

Florence B. Alexander 71, passed away on January 4, 2018.

She was the beloved wife of Robert Alexander of Acushnet.

Born in Fairhaven, Ma she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Sylvia and Mary (Witkowicz) Sylvia.

Florence was the loving mother of her children; Todd Sylvia of Fairhaven, Ashlee Philabaum and her husband Paul of Florida, Kim Cousineau of Acushnet, Donna Bastarache and her husband Marc of Acushnet and Robin Boyer and her husband Marc of Georgia. Florence was also the proud grandmother of her 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Florence is survived by her siblings, Lionel Sylvia of Fairhaven, Felicia Medeiros of Wareham, Bina Haaland of Fairhaven and Irene Portas of Carolina. She is predeceased by her brother, the late Gilbert Sylvia and her sister, the late Mary Nunes.

Florence attended Fairhaven High School, she also worked at numerous jobs and she was a waitress at the Sixth Bristol Club.

She loved to read, all day long. She loved her grandchildren. In her younger years she loved to travel and loved it down South.

Per Florence's wishes she did not want to have any services.
