Frederick R. Trautwein

Frederick R. Trautwein, also known as; Georgia Boy / Redneck 52, of Acushnet passed away on Sunday January 28, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital.

He was the husband of Kelley A. (Paulino) Trautwein of New Bedford.

Born in Morris County, New Jersey he was the son of the late Federick A. Trautwein and Catherine Mary (DeKoever) Trautwein.

Freedrick is survived by his children; his son, Paul Trautwein of New Bedford, his  two daughters; Stephanie Nolan of Acushnet and Alicia Paulino of New Bedford. He also was the proud grandfather of his three grandchildren; Ava Donnelly, James Donelly and Jordyn Lee Marie Martins.

Frederick worked for years at numerous jobs in plumbing and was a  mechanic for Advanced Auto in New Bedford.

He was known to have had many animals and was fond of dogs. He loved NASCAR, and enjoyed working on cars. He also was known for helping out the less fortunate in his neighborhood and help to make them, more productive people.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
