Harold D. Ward, Jr.

Harold D. Ward, Jr.79, of New Bedford passed away peacefully on Monday July 25, 2016 at his home.

He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Diane D. (Goddu) Ward.

Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Harold D. Ward, Sr. and Beatrice N. LePage. Harold was the loving father of his two children, his son, Randall M. Ward and his wife Grace of Taunton and his daughter, Nicole M. Ward of New Bedford. He was also the proud grandfather to his two grandchildren; Justin Ward and Cullin Ward, and he has one great grandson, Emerson Ward.

Harold was a proud member and veteran of the United States Air Force. He also worked for years as Senior Vice President of Astro Circuits. Harold was a commuicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, he belonged to the N.R.A and he liked to go to the Rod and Gun Club with his son, Randall in Taunton. Harold enjoyed a good football game and liked when the Patriots won. He will most be remembered as a caring, compassionate and loving man who will be deeply missed by those who knew of the undying power, of his love.

Relatives and friends are repectfully invited to attend his memorial mass on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 10:00 am to be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4256 Acushnet Ave. New Bedford, Ma.02745 Internment will be private.
