Obituary
Hope A. Pinard 71, of Lakeville passed away on Thursday October 27, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.
She was the beloved wife for 50 years to Roger M. Pinard.
Born in New Bedford she was the daughter of the late Leonard Hathaway and the late Mary Louise (Fournier) Hathaway. Besides her husband, Roger Hope is survived by her children: her 2 sons, Jon Pinard of New Bedford and Jaime Pinard and his wife Jody of Dartmouth. Her brother; Douglas Hathaway of Martha's Vineyard. Hope was predeceased by her 2 other brothers, the late Marc Hathaway and the late Leonard Hathaway. Hope was also the proud grandmother of her 4 grandchildren: Korryn Pinard, Seth Pinard, Lacey Pinard and David Tetreault. She also had 3 great grandchildren: Oliver, Scarlett and Aiyah.
Hope loved to work, she was the proud owner with her husband Roger of J&J Seafood In, in Lakeville for many years. They enjoyed running the restaurant together, and they would winter in Florida, during the break the Drive In was closed. She was a very devoted, dedicated, loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Hope's Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday Nov. 12, 2022 at 10:00 am with a receiving line prior to the Mass at 9:30 am to be held at St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Road (RT,18) East Freetown, Ma 02717
