Inez Mello Obituary
Inez Mello 92, of New Bedford passed away on Saturday morning at Alden Court in Fairhaven.
She was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert D. Mello.
Born in Fall River, Ma Inez was the daughter of the late Peter Mello and Nora (Mello) Mello. She is survived by her two daughters; Debra Mello and Nancy Lewin both of New Bedford. Inez was predeceased by her siblings; Two brothers, The late Raymond Mello and the late Peter Mello., And also her sister the late Dorothy Torres. Inez was the proud grandmother of her two grandchildren; Kacie Lewin and Kelsey Lewin and her great grandchild; Ever James Beatty.
Inez worked for years for the New Bedford School Dept as a school supplier purchaser. She belonged to the New Bedford Country Club as well as the Council on Aging. She adored being a wife, a mother and a grandmother.
Her Memorial Mass will be held at St.Julie Billiart Church, Slocum Road, N. Dartmouth, Ma. on Monday October 15, 2018 at 10 am.
