Irving Adams Obituary
Acushnet; Irving E. Adams 88, passed away on Thursday April 19, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.
He was the beloved husband for 67 years, to the late Elsie F. (Smalley) Adams.
Born in Fall River, Ma he was the son of the late Irving E. Adams, Sr. and Ethel (Howard) Adams.
Irving is survived by his two daughters; Sandra Francis Gomes and her husband Ramon of East Freetown and Christine "Tina" Louise Andrade of Acushnet. He is also survived by his brother Charles Francis Adams of Florida. Irving was the proud grandfather of his four grandchildren; Joshua Gomes, Jason Gomes, Charles Crooks and Thomas Crooks. and his 3 great grandchildren; Sophie Crooks, Elizabeth Crooks and Chazz Crooks.
Irving worked for years as a self employed carpenter, he could do everything and even built his own house. He was very much a home person and he loved to garden. He was very fond of a dog and a cat. and he really loved his children and grandchildren.
Private services for Irving, will be held at a later date.
