In Loving Memory of Janice It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing Janice, who passed away on July 7, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on January 14, 1938, in Stoneham, Massachusetts, Janice was a cherished soul whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. Janice's life was filled with dedication, love, and an unwavering commitment to her family . Her professional journey as an Office Manager began with Dr. Joseph A. Costa, where she played a pivotal role in building and nurturing the practice. Her colleagues remember her as a beacon of efficiency, grace, and a nurturing spirit who always went above and beyond. Beyond her professional life, Janice was a woman of diverse interests and passions. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, with the beach being one of her greatest loves. The sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun were her solace and inspiration. Fridays became a special tradition as she gathered with her family for "coffee Fridays," a time where laughter, stories, and love were shared over steaming mugs. Her love for reading filled her with endless stories and adventures, while her keen eye for decorating turned every space into a welcoming haven. Janice's legacy is carried on by her devoted partner of 34 years, Merrill Johnson, whose unwavering love was a cornerstone of her happiness. She leaves behind her loving children: daughter Deborah St. Laurent and her husband Marc, son David Carrier, daughter Michelle Carrier, and daughter Colleen Hooben with her husband Lester (Tobey). Her family was her pride and joy, and her spirit will continue to live in the hearts of her ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. In accordance with Janice's wishes, a private ceremony will be held to celebrate her life, allowing her family to come together in an intimate setting to honor her memory. For those who wish to honor Janice's memory, the family kindly suggests a donation to a charity of your choice, reflecting her lifelong spirit of generosity and compassion. Janice's vibrant spirit, unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought to those around her will forever be remembered. Though she is no longer with us, her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
