Joanne Chase Obituary
East Freetown; Joanne G. Chase 82, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday September 14, 2018. Born in New Bedford, Ma she was the daughter of the late James Treadup and Dorothy (Tavares) Treadup.
Joanne is survived by her two children; her son, James F.Rezendes of East Freetown and her daughter; Gigi Chase Levesque and her husband Troy also of East Freetown. She was predeceased by her two daughters; the late Bonnie Lee Rezendes and Lonnie Gil Rezendes. Joanne was the proud grandmother of her three grandchildren; Brian LaFranchise, James Rezendes and Samantha Rezendes.
Joanne worked for years as a sales clerk for Star Store in New Bedford. She was very strong willed and stubborn. She loved to play cards, go to flea markets, and she enjoyed doing crosswords, and she also liked to buy Antiquies. But mostly she just treasured her precious grandchildren.
Private services will be held for Joanne at a later date.
