John Joseph DeMello, "John John" passed away suddenly at his home in New Bedford today, August 17, 2018, he was 39 years old.
Born in New Bedford he was the beloved son of the late John DeMello and Dolores J.(Jeffrey) Millington. John is survived by his children, his son; John Joseph DeMello, Jr. of New Bedford and his daughter; Leticia V. DeMello also of New Bedford. John is also survived by his siblings, his brother, James Anthony DeMello of New Bedford and his three sisters; Doreen G. Souza and her husband Dennis, Diane R. Gadapea and Debra G. DeMello all of New Bedford. John is also survived by his granddaughter; Serenity DeMello. John leaves behind Aunts, Uncles, and many nephews and nieces.
John loved to play baseball and basketball and he also was a coach for the South End Little League Baseball team. John as well liked to play football and was a avid Patriot's fan.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to John's family, in his memory.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his wake with visitation to be held at South Coast Chapel Mortuary 158 Middleboro Rd (Rt.18) East Freetown, Ma 02717 on Wednesday August 22, 2018 from 5 pm to 7 pm.
