John F. Francis 57, of New Bedford passed away on Monday November 1, 2021.
He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret-Ann (Fortin) Francis.
Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Joseph Francis and the late Mary-Lou (Shields) Francis.
John is survived by his children, his son Joseph R. Francis and his daughter Amanda Rezendes. John was predeceased by 2 of his siblings; The late Leonard Picanso and the late Milton Francis and John is survived by 2 of his siblings; Paul Francis and Leal Francis. He was also the proud grandfather of his 9 grandchildren.
John worked for years in construction for Riley brothers. He enjoyed sports, especially football and was a Patriot fan. He also like to watch western movies and he loved his dogs. He also loved spending time up in Maine. But mostly he enjoyed spending his time with his family.
A celebration of John's life will be held at a later date.
