Jonathan F. Hardy

Jonathan Francis Hardy, 50 years old of Assonet passed away on June 21, 2024. 

Viewing services will be held on Wednesday June 26, 4-7pm at South Coast Chapel Mortuary 158 Middleboro Rd, East Freetown Ma, 02717 with a celebration of life immediately following. Burial services will be private. 

Jonathan was born in New Bedford and raised in Acushnet his whole life before moving to Assonet. Jonathan was a graduate of Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School where he took machine and tool. He has worked for N.E.L. corporation for 20+ years.  

Jonathan enjoyed playing pool, he was a motorcycle enthusiast, a Bruins fan, and loved being with his family and friends.  

Jonathan is survived by his son Ethan Xavier Hardy, his grandmother Marie Hardy, parents Everett and Lucille Hardy III, his sisters Heidi Hougasian and her husband James, Keri Hall and her husband Jeremy, Amy Evanowski and her husband Michael, and his brother Todd Gifford. He also leaves behind his Godchildren Troy, Blake, and Isabel Hougasian, his nieces and nephews Michael and Maya Evanowski, Jakob and Gabriel Gifford, Tyler, Sierra, Ethan, Jayson, Bella, and Sophia.
