Jose Tavares Obituary
Jose M. Tavares 68 passed Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at St. Lukes Hospital. He was born March 9, 1948 in Sao Miguel Acores.
He leaves behind his loving wife Cathy Tavares and his son Zachary Tavares, his brothers John, Carlos, and Pedro and their wives, his sister Maria G. Tomasia, and her husband, his beloved nieces and nephews, and 2 beautiful grand daughters. He was a man of many talents and approached everything in life with passion, compassion and humor.
Joe worked for Tilcon for more than 30 years. He was an avid gardener, animal lover, sports enthusiast, wine maker and cook.
He will be forever missed by all that loved him. A memorial service will be held March 18th at 11a.m. At South Coast Chapel Mortuary, 158 Middleboro Rd (Rt.18) East Freetown, Mass.
