Joseph E. Soares78, of Fairhaven passed away on Friday, March1, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospital.
He was the widow of the late Deanna (Brazier) Soares.
Born in Fairhaven, Mass he was the son of the late Joseph Mariano Soares and the late Anita L. (Fredette) Soares. Joseph is survived by his two daughters; Heidi Soares and Melissa Soares. Joseph is also survived by his siblings, his brother Ernest Soares and his wife Dolores of Swansea, and his four sisters; Roberta Costa of FL, Sylvia Parr and her husband William of CA, Jeanne Zawrotuck and her husband Eugene of FL and Maureen Cordeira of Wareham. Joseph was predeceaed by his brothers the late Norman Soares and the late Robert Paul Soares. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, six step children; Lynne, Melody, Pam, Beth, Debbie, Randy and the late Richard ., and many nieces and nephews.
Joseph served his Country and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked for years as a self employed Crane Operator for his own Company, J & D Crane Company.
Joseph's family are planning to have his services at a later date.
