Judy Galego 75, of East Freetown passed away on May 29, 2021.
She was the beloved wife for 55 years of Henry M. Galego.
Born in Dartmouth, Ma she was the daughter of the late Antone Medeiros and the late Josephine Medeiros.
Besides her husband Henry, Judy is survived by her siblings; Arney Medeiros, Tony Medeiros, David Medeiros, Barry Medeiros, Joey Medeiros, Brian Medeiros, Eleanor Louise, Elaine Sylvia, Joyce Belastraci and Joannie Mendonca.
Judy worked as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years at St. Lukes's Hospital in New Bedford. She was a very caring, loving soul who was kind to all. She enjoyed bowling and going to flea markets and yard sales. But mostly she was an animal lover, she loved her cat Oreo and will spend eternity with him and she also loved and will miss their cat Eli.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her wake on Thursday June 3, 2021 from 4pm to 6pm to be held at South Coast Chapel Mortuary, 158 Middleboro Road (RT 18) East Freetown, Ma 02717.
Her Entombment with a graveside service will be held on Friday June 4, 2021 at 10:00 am, at Acushnet Cemetery, 91 Main Street, Acushnet, Ma 02743
For those of you who attend the services. If you have been vaccinated or you had Covid-19, you do not need to wear a facial covering or practice social distancing per the CDC.
