Kathleen P (Pacheco) Medeiros

Kathleen Pacheco Medeiros, 69, of New Bedford passed away on Sunday September 27, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of the late Edward Medeiros.

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Jacintho Pacheco and Hilda Faria. Kathleen was also the beloved mother of her children, Michele Medeiros Sales and her husband David K. of New Bedford and the late Keith Edward Medeiros. She is predeceased by her brother Michael Pacheco,Sr, and survived by her other siblings; Richard Pacheco and his wife Barbara of N. Dartmouth, Daniel Pacheco of Florida and Teresa A. Pacheco - Costa and her husband Gilbert of New Bedford.

Kathleen was the proud grandmother of her five grandchildren, Timothy Scott Medeiros, Kathleen Elizabeth Sales, Matthew Jon Medeiros, Andrew Charles Sales and the late Melissa Ann Sales, and 3 great - grandchildren; Timothy Isaiah Medeiros, Trinity Nevaeh Medeiros and Keith Jeffrey Eastman. Kathleen is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and cousins near and far.

Kathleen worked for years as a ward secretary for Parkwood Hospital. She enjoyed crafts, especially crocheting and quilting.

She liked to cook and she liked to play Bingo, and she was quite fond of her Roosters.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Kathleen's Memorial Service to be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church on Acushnet Ave. in New Bedford on October 17, 2015 at 11:00 am . According to her wishes a 70th birthday gathering will follow, at 76 Carriage Drive, in New Bedford.
