Leticia Juliette (Francoeur) Sylvia

Leticia J. (Francoeur) Sylvia 95, of North Dartmouth passed away on February 27. She was the wife of the late Edwin Sylvia, the love of her life. L.F.A.A.D.

The oldest of 9 children of the late Joseph and Julliette (Saucier) Francoeur, Leticia was a life long resident of this area. She attended local schools and worked in the area textile mills.

Leticia enjoyed her garden and watching things grow. She had a love of nature and all living things. Her warmth and unselfish compassion showed in her daily interation with everyone and everything. She was quick to share her cooking creations with family and friends - always keeping extra stock in the freezer. Most of all she loved her family. She will be misses very, very much.

Leticia is survived by her daughter and best friend, Edwynna J. Spanne and her husband Casper "Erik", and her pride and joy, her beloved grandson, Stephen C. Sylvia and his wife Cheryl. She is also survived by 2 brothers, George Francoeur and Jean "Louie" Francoeur and many nieces and nephews. Leticia was predeceased by 4 brothers: Joseph "Billy" Francoeur, Raymond Francoeur, Harry Francoeur, Henry "Artie" Francoeur and 2 sisters: Mabel (Irene) Fredette and infant Lillian Francoeur. She had a special place in her heart for "memere's" girls, Peggy and Sophia Tondreau of Dartmouth. She cherrished her friendship and daily conversations with her dear friend Carol Aurelio.

As per her wishes, there will be no calling hours.
