Lois Winifred (Valli) Atwood

Lois Winifred (Valli) Atwood, 82, passed away, on Nov. 2, 2014, at her home in Lakeville, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Wellfleet, Ma she was the beloved daughter of the late, Ansel Valli and Sarah Gill. She was the loving wife of the late, Hubert L. Atwood.

Lois was also the devoted mother of 3 sons; Leonard Atwood of Lakeville, Dean Atwood and his wife Cheryl Jones of South Dennis, David Atwood and his wife Janet of Maine and 1 daughter,her loving caretaker, Alice Anderson of Lakeville., and adopted sons, John Gagne and Richard Tetreault. 

Lois also was one of 12 children, Buster Valli, Gene Valli, Sherb Valli, Eddy Valli, Charlie Valli, Marilyn Dyer, Althia Stetson, Barbara Souther, Ceil Baker and Gin Fauquier. Lois was also the proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and great grandmother of 7 grandchildren.

Lois was a proud member of the Lakeville Historical Society, daughters of the American Revolution, and Meals on Wheels. She opened her heart and home to everyone that needed it. She was the heart and soul of the family.

A memorial service, to which both family and friends are respectfully invited to attend will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 am at the United Church of Christ in Lakeville, with a coalition to follow at the Church Hall.
