Louis J. Pittsley 86, of East Freetown, passed away peacefully, at his home on Wednesday February 14, 2018.
He was the beloved wife of Jeannette A. (Coe) Pittsley.
Born in Fall River, Ma he was the son of the late Nelson Pittsley and Jennie Pittsley. Louis is survived by his children, his two sons, Louis J. Pittsley and his wife Susan of Cranston, RI and David N. Pittsley and his wife Laura of Lakeville, and his daughter, Donna J. Medeiros and her husband Timothy of Greece, NY. Louis was the proud grandfather of his 4 grandchildren; David Pittsley, Joshua Medeiros, Kerrin and Kristin., and his 4 great grandchildren; Jasmine and Faith Pittsley and Samantha and Hunter. Louis was predeceased by his siblings; The late Nelson Pittsley, Bucky Pittsley and Marion Cabral.
Louis served his country proudly and was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for years as a Carpenter for Goodhue's Lumber and then for himself building many houses including his own home.
Louis was a member of the VFW in Freetown, he also belonged to the Eagle's Club in Lakeville. He enjoyed the company of his cats, Morris of recent and the late Peanuts.
