Louise Hierholcer passed away November 30, 2018 after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family.
Louise was born and raised in Freetown the daughter of the late James A. Bismore Sr. and Alice (Travis) Bismore. After moving to New Bedford Louise married William F. Hierholcer, Jr. they were married for 60 years.
Louise was a member of the First Congregational Church, Lunds Corner. She also belonged to the Red Hat Society. She loved Florida having vacationed there for over 50 years and spending the last 5 years in Daytona during the winter. She enjoyed playing cards with her many friends at Presidential Terrace as well as going on cruises.
She is survived by her husband, William, 2 daughters, Tammy Lou Hierholcer and Tracey lynn Hierholcer, 5 grandchildren; Stephen Pamplona Jr., James Amaral Jr. and his girlfriend Amethyst Silva, Joel Hierholcer and his wife Kendra, Sarah Gifford and husband Nicholas, and Samantha Hierholcer and her boyfriend Tom Robidoux and 8 great grandchildren; Ophelia, Ivy, Mylah, Noelle, Logan, Lilly, Scout, and Nico. She also leaves her beloved chihuahua Boo Louise and lifelong friend Cheryl Nunes. She was predeceased by her daughter Terry Lee Pamplona, her son William F. Hierholcer III and her brother James A. Bismore Jr.
Graveside service to which friends and family are invited, at the Assonet Burying Grounds, Main St., Assonet, Ma. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 at 11:00 am. Small gathering to follow at First Congregational Church, 2195 Acushnet Ave. New Bedford, Ma
