Manuel Perreira 84, of East Freetown passed away on Thurs. Jan. 24, 2019.
He was the beloved husband of Florence J. ( Wilbur ) Perreira.
Born in Fall River, Ma he was the son of the late Manuel Perreira and Virginia ( Gouveia ) Perreira. Manuel was the loving father of his two sons; Robert Perreira of Marion and Manuel Perreira of New Bedford. He was predeceased by his brother; the late Thomas Perreira. Manuel was also the proud grandfather of his six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Manuel worked for years as a mechanic, and he had his own business, Manny's Service Station. He was a workaholic and truly loved being a mechanic.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation which will be on Mon. Jan. 28, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at South Coast Chapel Mortuary, 158 Middleboro Rd ( Rt. 18 ) E. Freetown, Ma and his graveside service will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Bedford, on Tuesday Jan. 29, 2019 at 11:00am.
