Margaret A. Francis 60, of New Bedford passed away on Tuesday April 16, 2019.
She was the beloved wife of John Francis Francis.
Born in New Bedford, Ma she was the daughter of the late Lucien E. Fortin and the late Shirley (Francis) Fortin.
Margaret is survived by her children, a son, David W. Rezendes and his wife Jenna of Acushnet and her daughter, Amanda K. Rezendes also of Acushnet. She is also survived by her siblings, Edward Fortin and his wife Donna of Fairhaven, James Fortin, Laurell Cook and her husband Robert of Lakeville and Susan Thompson of Acushnet. Margaret was also the proud grandmother of her 5 grandchildren.
Margaret worked for years as a Travel Agent notably for Grand Circle Travel. She loved all animals, dogs, cats and enjoyed feeding the birds, while she had her coffee. She also loved to Garden.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial gathering onTuesday May 7, from 6pm to 8pm to be held at South Coast Chapel Mortuary, 158 Middleboro Road (RT18), East Freetown, Ma. 02717
