Marie (Molloy) Lainey

Marie Ann (Molloy) Lainey, 72 of New Bedford, passed away suddenly on February 16, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Marie was the loving wife of the late Jeffrey N. Lainey.

Born in Worcester, Ma she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph W. Molloy and Bridget Mary (Hogan) Molloy.

Marie was the mother of her two children, her son; Anthony Corriea of New Bedford and her daughter; Martha Marie Correia of Florida. She was also the very proud grandmother of her three grandchildren; Anthony David, Tyler Douglas and Celeste Marie.

She is survived by her sister, Patricia Mary (Molloy) Berard of New Bedford.

Marie was a very devoted, caring and compassionate nurse. She simply loved to take of people. She enjoyed bingo and Keeno, and she was a wonderful mother and loved children.

A memorial service to which both family and friends are respectfully invited to attend will be held at South Coast Chapel Mortuary located at 158 Middleboro Road (Rt.18) East Freetown, Ma, on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 5:00 pm, with calling hours from 2pm to 6 pm.
