Marie Diane (Breau) Smith

Marie D.(Breau) Smith 61, of  New Bedford passed away on Tuesday July 19th after a lenghthy illness.

She was born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Romeo and Estella Breau. Marie was the devoted and loving mother of her children; 3 sons; Duane Dale Smith of Fall River, Rodney Barry Smith and Barry Wayne Smith both of Alabama and her two daughters; Gidget Pauline Dee Davis and her husband Eddie of Alabama and Paula Jean Smith of New Bedford. She was also the proud grandmother of her 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Marie was predeceased by her siblings; The late, Romeo Breau, Barry Breau , Juliette, Pauline and Paula.

Marie loved more than anything being a mom and grandmom.

She also loved animals, children and minature little anythings. She was a lover of thunderstorms as well.

Marie's services will be held at a later date.
