Marilyn (Miller) Fergason

Marilyn Fergason 77, of East Freetown, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 24, 2016 at Sippican Health Care Center in Marion.

Born in Fall River, Ma she was the beloved daughter of the late Harold Miller and Margaret (Preistley) Miller.

Marilyn was the wife of the late Robert Fergason.

She is survived by her children; 2 sons; Randall Chandanais of East Freetown and Michael Chandanais of New Bedford and her 4 daughters; Cynthia Chandanais Wajda of East Freetown, Susan Chandanais and Michelle Bliss both of Florida and Christine Cebula of Fairhaven. Marilyn is also survived by her sister, Mary Ponte of Fall River.

Marilyn was also the proud grandmother of her 14 grandchildren and 11 great - grandchildren.

Marilyn worked for years as a Certified Nurse's Aide with the Visiting Nurse Assoc. of Fairhaven. She belonged to the Moose Lodge in SE New Bedford. She will be remembered as being strong willed, independant and opinionated. The life of the party who will be deeply missed, by those who knew her. 

Her wake, to which both family and friends are respectfully invited to attend wil be on Thursday, January 28, from 10am to 1pm at South Coast Chapel Mortuary, located on 158 Middleboro Road (Rt. 18) East Freetown, Ma. 02717
