Mary Caswell Obituary
Mary E. (Pacheco) Caswell 79, of East Freetown passed away on Saturday January 19, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of the late Russell A. Caswell, Sr.
Born in St. Miquel Azores, Portugal she was the daughter of the late Joao Pacheco Galinha and Maria Albertina (Da Ponte) Galinha.
Mary is survived by her two children, her son; Russell A. Caswell, Jr. of East Wareham and her daughter; Sharon Boucher and her special son in law Steven of New Bedford. Mary was predeceased by her two sons the late Robert A. Caswell and John A. Caswell. Mary is survived by her siblings; her brother Jose and his wife JoAnn Pacheco of Florida and she is predeceased by two brothers, the late Anthony Pacheco and Gilberto Pacheco. Mary was also the proud grandmother of her six grandchildren; Cherie Caswell Barnes, Jennifer Caswell, Rebecca Carvalho, John Westgate, Ashley Mello, and Steven Boucher, Jr. and she also had ten great grandchildren that she adored.
Mary worked for years as an assembler for Isotronics in New Bedford. She enjoyed yard sales, plants, cooking, but mostly Mary just loved her family.
Visitation to which friends and relatives are respectfully invited to attend will be on Thurs. Jan 24, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm to be held at South Coast Chapel Mortuary, 158 Middleboro Rd, East Freetown, Ma 02717 and a graveside service will also be held in Chace cemetery, in East Freetown on Fri. Jan 25, 2019 at 10:00 am all guests are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
