Mary Lou Martins Camara

Mary Lou Martins Camara 73, of East Freetown passed away Tuesday December 14, 2021 after a courageous 6 year battle with Cancer, she succumbed to Covid-19.

Born in Fall River, Ma she was the daughter of the late John A. Martins and the late Maria Lourdes (Garcia) Martins.

Mary Lou is survived by her children; Gregory P. Camara of Westport and Christy Camara of East Freetown. She is also survived by her brother; Carlos "Charlie" Martins of Somerset. Mary Lou was also the proud grandmother of her 2 grandsons; Jacob "Jake" Camara and Nicholas Camara and her granddaughter Sage Marie Camara Raimundo.

Mary Lou was an Adorer of the Blessed Sacrament at St. Francis Church in Acushnet. She also was a 3rd Order Dominican in Tiverton. She liked dogs, cats and she enjoyed flowers.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial, on December 22, 2021 at 9 am to be held at Holy Ghost Church, 303 Hooper Street, Tiverton, RI  02878, followed by procession to burial with a graveside service In St. Patrick's Cemetery, 2233 Robeson Street, Fall River, Ma 02720
