Michael Eric Cobb, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend unexpectedly passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 in his home in Westport Massachusetts. Born on 6/30/71 Michael was the son of James Cobb and Marjorie Cobb and younger brother of Timothy Cobb of Fairhaven Massachusetts. He then was also the beloved ex husband of Kellie Robillard. Michael in his early career graduated from Harry Lundeberg School Lifeboat class #523 working on the tug boats, and from there worked with one of his best friends Don Roderiques in construction then had made his huge impact in the pharmaceutical industry. Working with his hands was a gift, riding motorcycles was his adrenaline kick, and cooking meals for his family and friends was something he loved and enjoyed most. He truly loved his family and friends and would do absolutely anything for them to put a smile on their faces, a people pleaser some might say. Michael would run track at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High school and help his family at home with certain things around the house for his mother, helping his late father with yard work or admiring his charming music he would play on piano. His love for his family was infectious, he later had two biological sons that were his pride and joy Michael James Cobb (26 years of age) and Christopher Tyler Cobb (22 years of age), and a step son Brandon Medeiros (30 years of age). Something that they learned from their father is to always have faith, when times get hard and the rain is pouring to never give up hope because greater things are ahead. "If you don't like the job or the tasks you're provided, always do it to your best capabilities no matter what. Never half ass the job”. Michael had a love for his cowboy hats, boots and music, Harley Davidson shirts and leather jackets, and his silver jewelry collection. His personality was full of laughter and always put his best foot forward even in dark times, he would look to his dear friends for guidance and good memories to remind himself of the good times he had. When his kids were young he would teach them how to ride dirt bikes, throw a football, swing a bat correctly "Elbows up” or "Eye on the ball” - always be a gentleman, and always dress to impress. His sons remember times of playing Rock Band on his big JBL speakers and their dad killing it on the microphone! Michael had a huge love for all types of music and later expanded his music tastes in different genres. He would show his son Christopher how to properly hold and strum a guitar at a very early age and later on in life Christopher would pick up and learn how to play guitar and send his dad recordings from where he resides in Atlanta, which he adored. Michael had a love for life and family, he was planning to live. Eventually he hoped move down south closer to his youngest son, he had set plans to plant a garden within his yard in Westport, fix his choppers to later pass on to both of his sons, and enjoy the time he had with friends and loved ones around him. Michael will forever be missed and thought of everyday by his friends and family and the ones he impacted most. He is survived by his survived by his two sons, Michael James Cobb and Christopher Tyler Cobb and his nephew Matthew James Cobb. This isn't goodbye this is see you later down the road…❤️
