Nathan A. Smith 31, of Acushnet passed away after a short illness on Saturday July 29, 2017 at Brigham and Women's hospital in Boston.
Born in Keene, New Hampshire he was the loving son of Jeffrey W. Smith and Brenda L. (White) Smith of Acushnet. Nathan is survived by his brother Joshua J. Smith and his wife Nicole and his two nephews, Dean Smith and Jordan Smith, all of Acushnet. Nathan also leaves behind his faithful four legged friends, his three dogs; Kiko, Bandit and Hogan.
Nathan was a teacher, and he also worked for retail stores as an assistant manager, notably at the Toy Vault at the North Dartmouth Mall. He was a collector of comic books, he enjoyed writing, he loved wildlife and his rescue dog. He was not complicated, he was kind, considerate and wouldn't hurt anyone.
A celebration of his life, and memorial service is planned for a later date.
