Paul Donahue Obituary

Paul Edward Donahue, 55, of Assonet, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2026. Born on January 8, 1971, Paul was the beloved son of Elizabeth A. Terry and the late Richard J. Donahue of Assonet.

Paul grew up in Assonet, where he spent much of his life. He worked for many years in the construction industry as a drain cleaner, plumber, and pipe liner throughout Massachusetts, earning the respect of those who worked alongside him through his extensive knowledge of the trade, exceptional skill, and willingness to help others.

Above all else, Paul's greatest joy in life was his daughter, Riley Elizabeth. The two shared a special bond, picking up right where they left off no matter how much time had passed and creating countless memories filled with laughter, jokes, and love.

Paul loved fishing and enjoyed spending time on the water. He also had a lifelong love of animals, especially the many dogs that were part of his life over the years.

Those who knew Paul will remember his distinctive chuckle, warm smile, and easygoing personality. He had a way of making people laugh and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by his beloved daughter, Riley Elizabeth Donahue; mother of his daughter, Corrie Ann Borges; his siblings, Wendy Ward and John Donahue and his partner, Laura; his nieces and nephews, Cameron, Elizabeth, Allyson, and Andrew; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Paul's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His laughter, kindness, and the deep love he had for his daughter will never be forgotten.

Paul funeral services will be private.
