Pauline R (Rogers) Whitaker

Pauline R. Whitaker 83, of New Bedford passed away peacefully at her home on Monday January 3, 2022.

Born in New Bedford she was the daughter of the late George E. Rogers, Sr and the late Louise (Hemmen) Rogers.

Pauline is survived by her granddaughter Stephanie McEndarfer of Dartmouth, her brother George E. Rogers, Jr of New Bedford and her sister Gladys Cosmos of CT. Pauline was predeceased by her daughter the late Paulette LaFleur. She also was the very proud grandmother to her 2 great grandchildren; Sophia and Elliott.

Pauline worked for years for the New Bedford Public Schools as a Cafeteria worker. She enjoyed country music, sitting out in the sun, Indians and wolves. Pauline also had a love of cats, especially for her beloved Patches but mostly she loved and adored her daughter and grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.
