Pearl D. (Pitts) Enos

Pearl D. Enos 90, of New Bedford passed away peacefully on Saturday April 23, 2022 at her home.

She was the beloved wife of the late Anibal Enos.

Born in New Bedford, Ma she was the daughter of the late Harold Lester Pitts, Sr. and the late Amanda Rose (Page) Pitts.

Pearl is survived by her children, her son; Shawn Enos and his wife Cheryle of New Bedford and her daughter Sharon A. Rapoza also of New Bedford. Pearl was predeceased by her siblings; her two brothers, The late Roland Pitts and the late Harold Pitts, JR. and her two sisters; The late Louise Araujo and the late Elaine Dias. Pearl was the proud grandmother of her 2 grandchildren; Keith Tavares and Kristen Sousa and her two great grandchildren; Juliette Sousa and Sophia Noelle Tavares, and her several nieces and nephews.

A long time communicant of Our Lady Of Fatima Church, serving as Religious Education teacher, Director of  Religious Education, Eucharistic Minister and Lector for over 35 years. She adored her "children" as they did her. She also was a member of the Mattapoisett Auxiliary Florence Eastman Post #280. She also loved to bake and made the best Gingerbread Pumpkin Trifle and cheesecake anywhere. Pearl especially loved her Pekingese dog, Jackson. But mostly she enjoyed the love of her family and grandchildren and great nieces and nephews surrounding her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral services to be held on Thursday April 28, 2022 starting with a receiving line. It will be from 9:30 am to 10:00 am, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow, to be held at St. Gabriel The Archangel Parish, 273 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford, Ma 02745.
