Philip Jon Bartnik 62, of Wareham passed away Monday October 30, 2017, at his home.
Born in Buffalo, New York he was the son of the late John C. Bartnik and Silvia (Domino) Bartnik.
Philip was the loving father of his daughter, Krystina (Savaria) Bartnik and her husband Zachary, of Rochester. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Sharon (Roy) Bartnik of New Bedford. He was also the proud grandfather of his two grandaughters; Kaya Savaria and Scarlet Savaria both of Rochester. Phil was predeceased by his brother the late Stephen Bartnik and he is survived by his three sisters; Misia McAuliffe of Medway, Carol Bartholomew and Wanda Pelletier both of Oklahoma.
Phil worked for years as a supervisor at the Chatham Village. He enjoyed fishing, camping in Maine and all of nature he also was an avid Patriots fan. He will be deeply missed.
A gathering of his family and friends will be held at South Coast Chapel Mortuary, 158 Middleboro Rd (Rt.18) East Freetown, Ma 02717 On Wednesday November 15, 2017, from 4pm to 8pm, all are respectfully invited to attend.
