Commander Philip E. Dould 80,of Middleboro passed away peacefully at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.
He was the beloved husband for 62 years of Rose P. (Frisina) Dould.
Born in Gardner, Ma he was the son of the late Philip F. Dould and Diana (Plantin) Dould.
Philip is survived by his children;his son, Philip F.Dould of Quincy and his daughter; Theresa B. Cummings of Dennis. Philip is also survived by his siblings, his brother, John Dould and his wife Kathy of Atol and his sister; Corrinne P. Stoelting of California. Philip was the proud grandfather of his two granddaughters; Sarah A. Cummings and Samantha R. DeMagistris. Philip was also survived by his aunts,uncle's, nieces and nephews.
Philip joined the Military right out of high school and made a career at it for over 32 years. He was a retired Commander of the United States Navy. He also worked as a Hospital Director for the State of MA. He also was a member of the Elks Club, and he really liked to play poker weekly with his buddies. He also enjoyed the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.
Per his wishes, he is to be scattered, out to sea.
