Priscilla Worthington Obituary
Priscilla E. Worthington 73, of New Bedford passed away on Dec. 31, 2018 at the Royal of Fairhaven.
She was the beloved wife for 53 years to Howard N. Worthington, Jr.
Born in Acushnet, Ma she was the daughter of the late Walter H. Townsend and Edith L. ( Williams ) Townsend. Priscilla also had a second set of parents, her aunt and uncle, the late Milton and Louise Townsend.
Besides her loving husband Howard, she is survived by her children, her two sons, Kevin W. Worthington and his wife Anne of Ct and Scott H. Worthington and his wife Dawn of Virginia. Priscilla was also the proud grandmother of her three grandchildren; Juliana Worthington, Josiah Worthington and James Worthington. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Molly.
Priscilla worked for years in the laundry dept for Sacred Heart Nursing Home. She loved animals especially dogs. Priscilla also liked to cook and bake, but she really enjoyed the salt water, the ocean, Bayview, and the Padnaram bridge and she had a fondness in her heart for Maine.
Pricilla's husband Howard would like to extend his sincere appreciation to the Royal of Fairhaven and to Fedelis Hospice for the excellent care given to Priscilla.
Family are respectfully invited to attend her prayer service, on Friday morning Jan. 4, 2019 at 11:00 am, to be held at the South Coast Chapel Mortuary,158 Midddleboro Road (Rt 18) , East Freetown, Ma 02717
